Summary Monster ()

A brilliant neurosurgeon living in Germany finds his life in utter turmoil after getting involved with a psychopath that was once a former patient.

Dr. Kenzo Tenma, a young but extremely talented neurosurgeon, lives his life working in a hospital in Germany. He is respected by his superiors for his incredible surgical skills, envied by his peers and he is engaged to the daughter of the hospital director. But one day his bright future changes when a little boy is brought in with a serious head injury, along with his twin sister, the aftermath of a family massacre. He is faced with a huge dilemma when his superior orders him to abort the boy's surgery and operate on the mayor instead, who was brought in much later. He decides that "all life is equal" and goes against his superiors to save the boy's life (who arrived first), which ultimately results in the mayor's death. The boy survives, leaving Tenma's career in ruins, his engagement to his fiancé broken. His downward spiral begins when one night, while he is out cold in a drunken stupor, the twins vanish from the hospital and Tenma's superiors - along with the hospital director - are found dead. Tenma, having no alibi and the only one with motive, is the prime murder suspect. He goes into hiding and vows to find the twins and prove his innocence. Little did he know, that this is only the beginning of a terrifying journey through countries, buried secrets and the dark depths of the human psyche...

Dr. Kenzo Tenma has it all. He is by far the most skilled surgeon at Isler memorial, a well respected doctor amongst his peers and is even engaged to the directors daughter, Eva. But all this changes one fateful day when a young boy and his twin are brought in with a severe head injury. With a very delicate operation on his hands Tenma faces the dilemma of choosing to operate on the young boy or operating on the mayor. Going against his orders Tenma saves the young boys life. This however comes at the cost of losing the mayor and along with it his status at the hospital, relationship with Eva and everything he's worked for. Drunk and depressed one night Tenma angrily approves of his decision believing that "all life is equal". The following morning the twins have mysteriously disappeared whilst 3 doctors including the director have been found dead. 9 years later a BKA agent is hot on Tenma's heels believing him to be the lead suspect in the murders. However Tenma is about to be reunited with someone from his past who proves to be the reason behind all the events. Regretting his past decisions Tenma sets off on a quest across Germany to put an end to the consequences his actions have caused whilst along the way meeting characters who give him the courage and motivation to continue down this personal journey to redemption.

But after he saw how a woman cried for her man who died because someone else got more priority, he changed. He decides he wouldn't let anyone pass; everyone is equal. But one day, Tenma has to work on a little boy who was shot during the murder of his parents. He decides he will save the life of the boy, because he was first in line. But then, the children disappear .. and the murders begin. Tenma, feeling both guilt and worry, goes off to investigate the case since he feels that it somehow relates to him ... and the horror begins, for both Tenma and everyone he meets in search for the children...

Dr. Kenzou Tenma, a Japanese neurosurgeon, is one of the best doctors in Germany. He's respected by his peers, he's engaged and has a promising future. Tenma disagrees with hospital politics and sticks to his view that all human lives are equal and that no life is more important than another. One day he decides to work according to his own view on life and not follow hospital politics and he operates a young boy in critical condition, who arrived first, over the life of a politician. After this, Dr. Tenma's peers no longer have the same respect for him and his fiancée breaks up with him. But some time later, some of Tenma's peers are found murdered, his fiancée wants to get back together with him and he's appointed as head of the surgical department. 9 years later, the BKA is investigating a series of murders and one agent from the BKA suspects that Tenma is involved with the murders. Tenma starts to investigate after one of his patients is murdered and discovers that the murderer is someone from his past...
